Infrared Photography Art (IR photography)
Silver halides are inherently sensitive to the short, high-energy wavelengths. They can, however, be dye sensitized to longer, lower-energy wavelengths, including infrared. In infrared photography art, IR is normally defined as ranging from 700 nm to 15, 000 nm.
